Each year the Bank of England runs a technology competition challenging the UK’s students aged 16+ to come up with a way they would use technology to make a positive difference to society.
In previous years the challenge involved the use of different technologies like
Blockchain and Machine Learning.
This year they are asking participants to come up with ideas on how they could use Cyber Security to have a positive impact on society. Which is likely something that will be a major part of society in the coming years.
The opening date for the competition is the 6th of November 2017, and more details can be found at the link below after the opening date.
With such a strong Tech business environment in Buckinghamshire this is a very helpful activity for students aged 16+ to get involved in and develop skills that are no doubt going to help them in their future careers.
