Book students in now for the Big Bang Show in Bucks in June 2020 – inspiring young learners to pursue careers in STEM by demonstrating where their studies can take them after school.

Run by the Institution of Engineering and Technology in partnership with Bucks New University, Big Bang gives Buckinghamshire pupils the opportunity to attend a range of STEM workshops and a science show and participate in the popular interactive STEM fair.

The event is scheduled for Thursday 25 June 2020 at Bucks New University’s Aylesbury Campus and is for students in years 5 to 9.

Free activities will run between 9:30am and 3pm, with registration and attendance flexible throughout the day. Schools may select to attend a variety of workshops, a science show and the STEM fair or may just choose a shorter visit to attend the STEM fair.

Schools need to register their interest by 30 January 2020 by emailing John.Dunn@ietvolunteer.org.

Secondary schools are invited to send up to 20 students from Years 7, 8 and 9, accompanied by two members of staff.
