Book fully-funded apprenticeship registration and application workshops for your Years 11, 12 or 13 this summer term.
As we come to the end of the academic year, the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) programme is keen to support students needing extra help to register on the Find an Apprenticeship (FAA) website or apply for an apprenticeship.
The ASK programme has been set up by the Department for Education to help students learn more about apprenticeships. All state secondary schools in Buckinghamshire are eligible for ASK representatives to come in and support your students as part of the ASK programme.
These workshops are entirely free of charge and will help students in years 11, 12 or 13 to:
- Register and set up alerts for apprenticeship vacancies on the FAA website
- Understand the dos and don’ts of filling out an application
- Learn about the different recruitment methods employers use, such as video interviews and assessment centres
ASK will also sign up schools to a fortnightly report from the Education and Skills Funding Agency which identifies all apprenticeship vacancies in your local area, helping you to provide ongoing support for students looking to apply for any apprenticeships this year.
To book in a workshop or for more information, please email Regional ASK Project Coordinator Trisha Seecharran at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07516 728 094.
