Buckinghamshire Head Teacher Summit – DofE Statutory Careers Guidance Focus

The Buckinghamshire Skills Hub would like to invite all head teachers to attend our Careers Strategy Head Teacher Summit on the 21 March 2018 from 8.00-10.30am, at The Clare Foundation, Wycombe Road, Saunderton, Buckinghamshire, HP14 4BF.

The Department for Education’s new statutory Careers Guidance (published 5 January this year) will form a central part of our discussion.

There will be an opportunity to network with fellow Buckinghamshire head teachers and meet BTVLEP’s network of Enterprise Advisers, and we will be joined by the following speakers:

    Andrew Smith, Director of Strategy and Communications at Pinewood Studios and Chair of the Buckinghamshire Thames Valley LEP – The local perspective on skills and economic growth

    Kerry Senatore, Regional Lead at the Careers and Enterprise Company – The national progress of Enterprise Adviser Network

    Tristram Hooley, Director of Research at the Careers and Enterprise Company – Evidence of the impact of careers and enterprise

    Stewart Jackson, Ofsted Senior HMI for Further Education and Skills in the SE Region – Focus on the value of employer engagement
