The Pass The Torch event is part of a new exciting project to help spread awareness of apprenticeships and encourage more businesses to consider employing apprentices in the future. The Torch represents the passing on of knowledge, and has already been through many hands including the Prime Minister, David Cameron who attended one of the first Pass The Torch events in February.
The Torch itself was engineered by apprentices and will be touring the South of England in the lead up to National Apprenticeship Week 2016, commencing on the 14th of March.
On Thursday 24th of March the next Pass The Torch event will be held at the BTVLEP Clare Charity Centre, Wycombe Road, Saunderton; where there will be a host of local businesses in attendance to showcase their commitment to getting to 3 million apprenticeships by 2020, by pledging to recruit apprentices. The event will include a free employer briefing with information and informal Q&A covering:
- Funding & Grant
- Advertising & Recruitment
- Training Providers
- Apprenticeships Levy & Reforms
- Plus more…
