Could your students be responsible for the next iconic piece of street design? The Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) is looking for students aged 7-19 to create a design for on-street electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints that is innovative, iconic and beautiful, as part of a cross-curricula national schools’ competition.

It’s quick, simple and free to enter; there’s a one-page template for students to use creatively to share their design.

Download a free competition pack – including lesson plans to inspire your students – and find out the amazing money-can’t-buy prizes at the Government’s Year of Engineering website.

Entries are open until Friday 18 October 2019.
