Dear Enterprise Adviser,

As our dedicated volunteers, your work is invaluable to our organisation and to the future prospects of young people. To thank you for your efforts and celebrate your collective achievements to date, I am delighted to invite you to our second annual ‘Joining the Dots’ Conference on Wednesday 10 May, 10:30 – 16:30, at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘team’ – bringing together the hundreds of schools, colleges, employers and careers and enterprise providers who work fervently in this space to help young people navigate the modern careers landscape.

We have a brilliant programme of events planned for the day. You will hear from industry and education leaders and directly from young people themselves as they share their hopes and aspirations for the future. There will also be a series of panel sessions where we will discuss a range of issues including our approach to raising aspirations in schools through our Enterprise Adviser Network, the value of employer mentoring, and effective employer engagement to raise the profile of vocational routes.

We will also formally launch our work to support the government’s Opportunity Areas, ensuring increased and targeted support for those young people who need it most.

Please register your attendance here using the password C&E2017CON. You will receive a link to download our conference app, which has details of our agenda, speakers and logistics.

If the cost of your travel makes it difficult for you to join us for the event, The Careers & Enterprise Company will offer reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses for all Enterprise Advisers who wish to attend the conference. Please find attached our expense policy and claim process.

I look forward to welcoming you to our conference and very much hope that you can join us on 10 May in Sheffield.

Warm regards,

Claudia
