Every year the National Apprenticeships Service runs the National Apprenticeship Week to celebrate and promote apprenticeships in the UK, and this year it’s bigger and better with a huge line up of national events and local independent events being run by local organisations.
The Big Assembly
The main aim of the week is to educate and inspire young people across the country about apprenticeships and the opportunities available through this type of career path. The biggest event during this week is the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest online careers advice seminar ever run – appropriately named ‘The Big Assembly’ where schools from across the country are encouraged to register and join the online seminar to further inspire their students with apprenticeships information.
